Am so grateful that Raquel Berlanga Rojas had the courage to speak to the nearly 6,000 people at the #NoKings #YesOn50 rally at the Marin fairgrounds yesterday.

I'm even more grateful for the work she's doing on behalf of immigrants.

Worked the rally from 6:15 a.m. til 2 p.m. I'm freakin' exhausted and truly in need of a week off.

Instead, I'm going to attend a house party for #YesOn50 Sunday. And I'm going to do a banner drop Monday at 7 a.m. And...and...and.

TBH I don't even know if one exists. We do it in our county because we handle all the press, even when we aren't organizing others' events.

Whereas I just always want to punch people in the face when they come up to me with what we really needed at a rally, one of my volunteers framed it as: It shows how really wonderful it was when we are thinking of such frosting on the cake kind of ideas.
