it was a disaster getting here. there are a LOT of stairs. we got misdirected like 7 times by staff with no knowledge. but we are seated and ready!

we're also taking a waymo there which is both of our first times in a driverless vehicle but it's a lot cheaper than lyft or uber and i didn't want my first time on a bus since the accident to be at night when i also haven't tested walking that far at night.

on a brighter note, marcelle & i are going to see ludovico einaudi in concert tonight, something i have wanted to do for 15 years! i listened exclusively to einaudi when writing for at least a decade & i'm finally going to see him perform! i snagged tickets ages ago & completely forgot about it.

okay radiologist said babycat's XR was normal but recommended US because string isn't visible on XR. she has an US tomorrow morning to determine if surgery is needed. marcelle's (literal millionaire) sister is paying for the US & potential surgery. putting her down is off the table & we can rejoice!

it's very lovingly and respectfully written with stories about the deceased and their love of cooking. it's mostly sweets/baked goods but there are some savory. I love it.

Cops get bonuses for two-year associate degrees; teachers, of course, have to have finished college.

mom sent us some money. she's off to the vet for an ultrasound/exam. fingers crossed they just want us to give her the mineral oil (apparently it's not a laxative - that would make it worse) & wait for her to pass them herself. we don't want to lose babycat. not now. not ever, but especially not now

i have just under $300 on my care credit card and babycat has a vet visit for an ultrasound i may not be able to pay for. i've asked my mom for money. we're just hoping beyond hope that all she needs is some laxative (that's how she passed two of the EIGHT strings she ate) and some time.

liv and i are over here cheering every time babycat does a poo because she ate a bunch of string and didn't poop for 2 days and now she might need surgery we can't afford so we'd have to put her down which we also can't afford because we're both overdrawn.

complained to a coworker about the girl who wanted to "comfort" me by saying it's not obvious i'm on the spectrum & coworker was like "i wouldn't call it OBVIOUS but i knew you know something was going on with you" okay that's. comforting i guess. she did agree the girl was bullshit to say that.
