Ugh. There are several generations of us who had chicken pox as kids. I think anyone who has had chicken pox previously should be eligible. Just nip the chance of shingles in the bud. But I'm an "ounce of prevention" kind of person & apparently a dreamer, too.

I know a lot of people under 50 years of age who have gotten shingles, often following a covid infection. They complain they either aren't eligible for the vaccine or can't afford it. I'm in Ontario. My spouse & I were able to get them early, but we had to pay. Too bad it's not more accessible.

Don’t compromise your beliefs and health to be accepted by someone who’s uncomfortable with you masking. 😷 They’re showing you they’ll also be uncomfortable with your future disability. NEW: There’s a disaster unfolding in Alaska right now. And no major network is covering it.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

I actually haven't gone bowling in St Thomas. Used to bowl in Aylmer at Cys a few decades ago. We took my granddaughter bowling in Ottawa on Easter weekend & we all had to laugh at how sore we were the following few days!

Lying to minimizing
relatives about what you're doing this weekend to stay healthy is top tier self care when honesty isn't working & they just keep disrespecting your POV. Give them your absence & yourself some peace of mind. Maybe they'll eventually figure it out. Maybe they won't. 🤷‍♀️
