Looks like there's a new slew of users showing up here from the other place and bringing a bunch of baggage with them.

Will share some moderation / blocklists I've been using in the replies to this thread. Not comprehensive, but they do make the experience here more tolerable.
We’ve reached national headlines for this story with FBI involvement over a house being egged.

You don’t get medical imaging unless there’s a problem or they’re setting a baseline for observation on a future scan, which is also indicative of a likely problem.

White House can spin this whatever way they want, but the dude is old and not in great health.

Looking like lots of COVID was passed around at Thanksgiving this year…

Seriously, don’t know why people stress out about the Thanksgiving food so much. Wine and even half the food would be perfect for 90%+ of the people out there.

There is a Locatelli pecorino romano cheese recall for listeria.

Most Italian families load up on this stuff, especially around the holidays and used in everything. The brand most use in the Philly and NJ areas.

Appears there is a connection to the Ambriola Company.

This #Thanksgiving I’m especially thankful for all the researchers, clinicians, medical professionals and smaller biotechs who are chasing treatments and cures for people living with rare diseases.

Seems extra important to give them thanks this year in this politicized science environment.

In a post-COVID world, there are many people under 50 developing Shingles.

A functioning CDC would be lowering or eliminating age restrictions for Shingles vaccines. Every single one of these reports links Shingles prevention to lower risks for Alzheimers and other Dementias.

Been asking for months why states are not doing this. Good on NJ and @mikiesherrill.bsky.social for potentially setting prescient.

If states are not getting a return on their investment of Federal money, why continue to pay into the system?
