It's important to track how many citizens are kidnapped by ICE. But I'll keep hammering the point that it simply does not matter if someone is native-born or undocumented — NO ONE deserves to be brutalized by glorified rent-a-cops in a fascist state. There are no "innocent" victims. Just victims.

Yeah I think this is basically right, though even from the beginning he was really worried about the paper losing money. Which like, yeah, you knew that before you bought it, and what is $50m to you, Jeff? Thrashing around with leadership, the "3rd newsroom", buyouts, it's just flailing now.

I think we should establish an understanding in the United States that if you order the military to carry out a lethal strike against something that is not an imminent threat without congressional authorization, what you did was murder and the entire chain of command is guilty.
