Hadn't realised Rob Wieland was the author of Camelot Trigger - in addition to his journalism, I have to thank him for one of the most satisfying long games I've had.

Rob Wieland's first email to me was on Sat, Oct 21, 2006, asking to get the PDF of Spirit of the Century to go with his physical-copy purchase.

There since the beginning.

Wish he could've been there until the end.
Cover of Fate Worlds Volume 2: Worlds in Shadow, featuring cover art taken from Rob Wieland's contribution to this book, the amazing King-Arthur-in-Mech-Suits CAMELOT Trigger setting. Armored mech-knights suit up to face the robotic horde led by the giant-floating-head MerGN-A! In this interior image from CAMELOT Trigger, we get a closer look at the giant floating head MerGN-A as her mouth opens to disgorge endless flying robots. Writing credit:

CAMELOT TRIGGER

editing by Tom Cadorette, Mike Olson, and Brian Engard

That suit doesn't fit him well at all, though! Super skinny, super short, tight on the arms, etc.

The universal experience of those who live in a metropolis and are used to its transports Vs those who don't and Don't Know How To Behave.

God I hate that :D

That's a weird one! As an Italian involved in the TTRPG scene, we've done interviews with authors in the past and it's usually been in English, then translated.

OTOH, in GQuuuuux it's char himself who gets a magical girl transformation.

hey, I remember you recommended a shop in London that has good Harris Tweed jackets - which one was it?

I find the UK Debate on ID cards somewhat weird.

As an Italian, I've had an ID card all my life. It's normal. And somehow, the UK has been implementing much more pervasive surveillance and control without an ID card system in place.

He's a beast. I always enjoy jokes about his interviewees - often to the tune of "everybody who gets interviews by this guy gets shredded to pieces, but surely he will be nice to me!"

CHOTINER: So your son is 14, is that right?

IKARI: It's complex, Isaac. If—

CHOTINER: And the “robot” he pilots, that’s actually the child of an alien you keep crucified in the basement, which is possessed by the spirit of his dead mother?

IKARI: Look, let me answer the question.

CHOTINER: Sure.

Important also because Cher attained the Most Incredible Hairdo a human being has ever achieved. Truly dazzling heights of architecture.

I hope George Martin and Patrick Rothfuss have enough money that they don't have to write ONE more word in their lives.

Not even a fucking shopping list.

Ok you got to name the band now though

When they told me knowing would be half the battle, I thought: "well that's a lot, I'm sure it will be enough!"

Now it turns out that the other half is having to DO stuff.

Honestly I didn't even want to commit to a whole battle in the first place.

Funnily enough, I remember hearing a Roman chef in a video say that adding a bit of butter is known as a variant specifically found in the cuisine of the roman Jewish community!
