Hospitals seem particularly good at that
It's very chaotic. Some coordination would be great. Where I used to work, the rules were different depending which side of the road you parked as the council boundary ran down the middle of the road.
It depends how the parking is charged as it varies massively across the country. In some places you can only park in the disabled spaces for 3 hours but the other spaces for as long as you want but you have to pay for both. If the fee is on vehicle size this might still be charged.
Just chased my disabled freedom pass application as it's been 10 weeks since I applied (start of August). Apparently they are currently processing applications received in the first week of July! How can a straightforward application take that long?
That's refreshing. A lot of the time these things aren't joined up
There needs to be a disability exemption from this as a lot of us have no choice over the size of vehicle we need to get us and our essential equipment around. Most Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles you can buy are van sized.
And those of us who've been managing pain for decades
I think that's why they are great villains. They are implacable and relentless
I want to know who decided I should dream about triffids last night
A triffid from the 1981 BBC Day of the Triffids
They look good but might be outside my budget as I'd have to hire lights and modifiers too
A bit of a long shot but does anyone know of a wheelchair accessible photography studio for hire in London? I'm trying to plan a couple of studio shoots but finding it hard finding anywhere to shoot

Thoughts - is a car park where people who need the accessible space can only park for 3 hours regardless of payment but people who don't can park for as long as they like discriminatory?
I love how one of the symptoms of nerve agent poisoning is listed as "involuntary fecal incontinence" which suggests the existence of "voluntary fecal incontinence"
Anyone got good FOI knowledge? Does a request need to be made to a specific point of contact within an organisation or any of their points of contact?
I wonder if the Berlin Brigade camouflage would work?
I do love Pat's line "I didn't know this was the thing!" with pregnant Bandit. Such a useful line
Good to know the commute I make as a wheelchair user is impossible then. Green Park is wrong as there's no step free access to the jubilee line. You can't get to and from the Northern Line at Waterloo. Circle and District aren't step free at Westminster
Is there a version that shows the High Barnet branch of the Northern Line?
Yes, the very manual nature of the current system provides a level of security due to how convoluted the process would be. More automation makes interrogation much easier
I've run polling stations a few times. The number on the ballot paper is recorded against the electoral roll by hand. The two are kept separate throughout the process. They can be reconciled if there's an allegation of fraud but v hard to search
Different trusts in different regions with different systems definitely hasn't helped
