October 9, the witch another Robert Eggers joint this movie is such a slow burn, but it is so brilliant and it’s execution. It really does capture a time of fear and suspicion. It really doesn’t make you understand the Puritanical mindset. Honestly, I was rooting for the devil the whole time. Everybody loves black Philip. 9.5/10.

October 11 antlers I did not enjoy this movie. I was certain that I would , it feels like it is right up my street. But I really didn’t. The story was just kind of meh. Visually, it is stunning. It is beautiful to look at. But it’s really heavy on allegory which I wasn’t keen on for whatever reason. 4/10.
