So, story time.

I hate buzzballs, but I didn’t know that until I bought two many of them. And so I’ve had in my fridge both espresso martini and horchata buzzballs for like a month. I dreaded having to drink them and none of my overnight guests wanted to get weird and try them.

honestly? It’s somehow way better than the sum of its parts. The coffee/banana shots are still better, but it kinda accomplishes the same thing: get buzzed fast, and taste vaguely of banana and coffee. I have Mr. Black’s and some banana liqueur on hand always, so I have no reason to do this again.

This morning I was struck by inspiration. What if I mix the espresso martini with the horchata, milk, and scoop of my banana milkshake mix. One of my favourite shots as a bartender was Mr. Blacks and crème de banane so it’s kind of in the same world.
