I often use big esoteric vocab words.
I use them correctly, but I sometimes have trouble articulating their exact definition. I just “get it.”

So someone will ask me “What does that word mean?” and I’ll blush, and waffle around trying to explain it, and I end up looking like a pretentious dolt

To the untrained eye this is a field of untapped potential, but practically it’s the exact opposite. Someone owns every square inch of this wasteland and they have no intention of doing anything good with it. These are the banned frequencies, the radio static in landscape.

I don’t get into the municipal grey area very often. The sad speckled stretch between cities and their underdeveloped sister townships. It’s a really hideous void. Astonishingly wide expanse of unused yellow brown land. An ugly golf course. A redundant car dealership. A useless billboard
