How convenient… for hackers, advertisers, foreign and domestic governments… pretty much everyone will benefit but the customer.
What happens when you centralize all your data and that system goes down? Or you piss off the powers that-be, and lose access. The deeper you invest in a digital ecosystem, the harder it is to break away and live without it. Their goal is full dependency through full control

It’s a lie. It doesn’t think, it doesn’t care, it has no interests, particularly your interests in mind, because it has no mind. It simply mashes together words until the user gives it a cookie, much like a soulless parrot
These days try to do anything, literally anything, without at least an email address

Because they’re trying to escape poverty, not the 1700s, genius. If you think basic tech access is luxury, survive a month without it.

The tech and video games industries are among the most predatory. Crunch is common, with the expectation to work beyond your normal hours, usually without any extra pay. They know you’re excited to work on something cool, and they will exploit that until your fingers are nubs and your eyes fall out.
They’ve always been a notoriously bad place to work, and for this very reason.
