1970s Eurohorror recommendation day #14 - Horror Express (1972) A film staring Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee that's not a Hammer movie? Yup! This Spanish/British co-production is a real treat and it's a lot of fun to watch the two brilliant actors and friends trade barbs. A great monster movie!

I am so furious right now. I just found out that apparently "enriched" all purpose wheat flour can contain barley and it doesn't have to list it. What the fuck? I'm allergic to barley. And this explains some problems I've had in the past. What the fuck.

When you're an egg men will confide in you the most heinous shit. They'll be like "yeah I cheated on her but I'm The Man in the relationship, I can do whatever I want. She shouldn't be mad at me. I basically own her. That's how it works." And you're just sitting there like "have I been friends with a misogynist sociopath for 3 years thinking that his statements about libertarianism and women's rights were just jokes?" And when you try to tell him he's wrong he just laughs it off so you see him maybe one more time ever and then cut him off for good.
