When I'm not shooting projects for clients, there are few things I enjoy more than catching Mother Nature interacting with #Chicago. Lightning, snow, waves, ice, fog, shelf clouds — you name it, Chicago almost has all the weather // #WX #ILwx

I'm an way-too-early-to-the-airport guy ™️, so one of the things I found funny was that while we were locking-down our first photo spot on LaSalle St., marathoners were still casually walking/jogging to the race start! If I ever ran (won't happen) I'd be chilling near the start by 6:00am 🤣

Congrats to all of the participants in yesterday's #ChicagoMarathon! Had a blast watching and photographing it for the first time in the ~18 years I lived here. I felt a sense of civic pride greater than I have in a long time. What a day to show the world what Chicago really is.

It’s been said but it bears repeating: in addition to the people being abducted, all Chicagoans are being psychologically terrorized. Seeing feds driving/walking around and videos of violent attacks in places you know and love will fuck you up. Get ready, it’s coming to all of America soon.
