Yeah, it definitely is going to push things up a level that many can't handle or prepare to compete with but will try anyways and we're going to see a big ripple tearing through the AAA side that is already showing lots of internal strife as is.

I've also see at every single show someone spamming a jab in a platform fighter and going "why doesn't the jab kill them? They are at 200%" and I have to nudge them to try any other attack (especially since the stale move decay isn't helping either at that point).

It is getting rougher and I think we're starting to see many sections of society folding inward of this. Not a FGC thing or even gaming thing, but many other facets are showing signs of that starting to crop up a lot more. People don't even have to come out of hiding to go grocery shopping anymore

Yeah, very unfortunate. From my experience, talking to investors for funding is like trying to sell them on investing in a sports video game. You've got a REALLY hard uphill climb and have to justify how you're different enough to make a profit on investment against the AAA competitors.

I had a soft spot for it as well (especially since it was riding off of the anime at the time). I remember the show. The gameplay, I remember very little though. I recall the massively jumping. I think their rush to be in the launch window of the PS2 stopped it from getting that time it needed.

Definitely feels like a more natural response. On Windows, I use the mouse setting to hit ctrl and it creates a circle around the cursor and shrinks down to it. Feels like Windows goes the opposite direction. It still gets the result at least?

Same and they love throwing the long 48 hit string right off the bat instead of diving into the BNBs and showing the building blocks that everything builds up to.
