i've been thinking about this and... yeah that's a good answer lmao. I've played some games I thought were utterly middling/forgettable (Black Sigil, Mon-Yu, etc) but they didn't make me actively mad like the Lufia 2 remake did lmao

i was going through nextfest demos, saw a game with really obvious ai art (yes, it was disclosed properly), then started clicking through to see more stuff from it out of tortured curiosity

i got to this and have been giggling like an idiot for the past 5 minutes
