I was anticipating this. Yes in the US definitely, but I'm also assuming it was first used in the in this context for Video Game groups in the US.

Of course I can always be wrong when assuming, but it makes me want to know the complete history all that more.

Why "Clan"?

Why not "Club", "Team" or "Group" instead of a very politically charged word?

I'd love to dive into where this started being used, and why that word was chosen.

Got my physical copy of LUTO today and now sitting down to play it.

Going in with close to knowing absolutely nothing about the game.

But that main menu shot and main character's name can't but help evoke thoughts of Death Stranding...

I finally saw the original last year and loved how different it was. It's such a great posit of becoming more isolated with the advent of the internet.

The American one doesn't touch on that at all & is definitely the worst of the three American remakes of Japanese horror films. (Grudge & The Ring)
