It was my fault. I sent a txt to a friend around 7:30 asking if he still had a hook-up for tix and that I couldn't believe the Ms were about to go to the World Series.

Less than a minute later, Springer hit that go-ahead HR.

I've been a PNW sports fan long enough to know better than to hope.

ICIRR posted on Facebook today that ICE is at the Delta rideshare lot at O'Hare, blocking the exit, demanding documents, and detaining people.

this (like literally everything ICE is doing) is absolutely disgusting. and if you or anyone you know drives rideshare in #Chicago, stay safe and stay away.

I can buy that most traditional law enforcement pros... local PDs and FBI agents, for instance... at least initially got into their careers to protect/serve/etc. the general public.

But ICE agents? These are dudes who see videos of Black/Brown people getting abused and say "that's what I wanna do!"

We will meet at Lownsdale Square in between 11am and 12pm.
Then we will march as a group toward the “No Kings” protest.
We need to stay as a group as much as possible. These people are violent and want to silence your voice!

Overall I love it. And once I figured out that I could just make that speed adjustment on the phone first and it would apply once I plugged it into the car, the speed thing became a non-issue.

But yeah, between Libro.fm & Libby via the FVRL, I only have to go to Audible if they have an exclusive.
