These young Republicans are being sacrificed by older, more entrenched Republicans not because they disagree, but because it’s strategic. They can point to this largely symbolic ouster as evidence that their party “isn’t racist” while the Republican Party is quite literally doing fascism.

The problem neoliberal parties are encountering everywhere: Half of the population wants some form of authoritarianism, and they don't care about science, journalism, or equality. Now that the oligarchs own most of the information platforms, achieving the minimum required to win an election is easy.

Remind me of the conditions placed on the families of the released Israeli captives?

Israeli occupation have barred families of Palestinian captives from celebrating or speaking to press after their loved ones are released. They have also dropped leaflets on the homes of prisoners’ families that read:

“The Israeli security forces will not allow demonstrations in support of terrorist organizations.

Anyone who takes part in such activities exposes themselves to questioning, punishment, and arrest.

You have been warned — we are watching you closely.”
