As the defacto family member/friend with a credit card for decades, I can confirm this is ridiculous. A LOT of people can't even have a bank account for whatever reason & rely on others to be their technological bridge.

We're still figuring out if we've inherited a senior beagle name Bourbon - if no one else in the family takes him, we will. Can't have him going to the pound.
