So as i've mentioned before, a personal favorite weird fighting game of mine is Sega CD Eternal Champions

i know some of my mutuals here have dug more into it, so i'm curious - what's the dirt? From my experience i'd guess Blast & Jetta are the god tiers & the owl might be banworthy

Also worth mentioning Thanatos, who despite having an invincibility install, isn't the biggest threat. Since he has only mids and throws.

Its a weird game, and I love it so much. 😆

As you can see, the gattling infinites can be pretty whack too. Not sure what s good solution is for competitive play. Frankly not enough competition has really happened to tell. But fwiw, the few events Ive run have ended with a race to easy loops amongst the better players.

All the animals are kinda ban worthy too. Mainly for the strange hurt boxes and runaway potential. More than their infinites.

But in such a wild game, who's to say really. Ban hooter flyaway and it might be alright.

It is 100% a "kitchen sink" game. Even outside of the wild character specific tools, everyone has infinites, thanks to the gattling system. You can loop natural strings for very silly TODs.

After TO Council passed a motion indicating the City was open to Alternative Solution Proposals for a single stair in apts up to 4 storeys, I applied for a single stair in a 3 storey Part 9 6plex.

I’m told it’s the first one, so it’s a test case. Here’s how it’s going.

The Switcheroo series is such a cool concept. Moneen fans can hear the first version of bleed and blister. AoF fans get their own exclusive in Charlie sheen vs henry Rollins. it's a shame that Dine alone hasn't pursued the idea again in the 20 years since the first one.

It seems that some record label nonsense disrupted the series, though.

After the Cancer Bats/Single Mothers EP, we haven't been graced with another Switcheroo outside of the occasional re-release.

Many of you are familiar with Alexisonfire, but slightly less known is .moneen.

Another southern Ontario band that grew alongside AoF, These 2 acts played together regularly, and eventually collaborated on the first Switcheroo.

The Switcheroo series was a criminally short-lived series of EPs from Dine Alone Records. These releases would have 2 bands covering each other's songs and could feature brand new tracks as well.

They functioned as crossover singles, introduced fans to new acts and inspired some phenomenal covers.
