I really like the team chosen for this and why they're all serving as bounty hunters for Sinister. The virus has damaged their DNA because of all the tampering done to them. Havok has a son named Chris! Venom is captured and the team returns to Vale Sinister and are given a new mission.

It's a plot device that led to house of me which led to the dark ages of the messiah trilogy. And now marvel editors won't stop going back to the same well of killing mutants off like no tomorrow. His run is the precursor for these dark and depressing stories that make the 90s look cheerful
