Trump is selling his meme coin to foreign governments & personally pocketing the money. The founders understood the that KINGS did that sort of thing, and they wanted a president, so they forbid it.
Trump then turns around & sets trade deals & can reward countries that buy from him.

Odds are this aggressively did not happen. But it would of course be just as unconstitutional to spend money donated to the government without a duly enacted appropriation as it is to spend tax money that way.

It’s still worse than useless. The senate is already skewed for the GOP, the filibuster just makes things worse. Nuke it, and let the GOP own the damage they want to create.

Then why did republicans end the filibuster for SCOTUS nominees? The filibuster is a bad anti-majoritarian rule. Any Dem who wants to keep it should probably retire.

The GOP wants Dems to help them hurt people, but this is all on them.
