4 decades ago the Federalist Society was created to destroy the fabric of the most successful democratic nation in history. It was a reaction to civil rights and the regulatory system that had built the middle class. They wanted unrequited wealth. They won. Now everybody’s miserable, even them. Yay

Anytime I see someone insult a politician as a “wannabe influencer” or a “social media personality” I remember that over half of gen Z name “influencer” as their desired career path. Like it or not, younger Americans see this as aspirational, not embarrassing!
