As a kid, I started with 6 pigeons as a hobby. It grew to almost a hundred. My dad was not happy and put them all in large garbage bags and drove it to his office dumpster. They pecked out of the bag and when someone opened it up, they all flew home before he got home.

I’ve been speaking to friends about the upkeep of pigeons and apparently they bring mice and rats so I’m undecided. But that’s probably more for flocks this is just two pigeons.

I’ve been thinking about pigeons way too much lately. Ever since I learned one flew all the way from France to Vietnam to deliver a message. Like what the hell. I think I’m going to get two pigeons.

My sincere thanks to everyone who has supported the Global Sumud Flotilla. I'm home safe & will be followed by the other Irish people today. I'm just catching up and have much more to share but for now I am so so grateful for everyone's attempts to free us. Remember that Gaza is the story not us.

Last word on Jim Gavin-the former tenant & money story was important but his lack of answer/evasion around the #womenofhonour question is more revealing for me- both of Gavin & the media.The media ran with the money,the issue of violence against women,nothing, just ignored,typical #aras25 #speirgorm
