He was upset that 7million people turned out to protest him and so he immediately reposted AI slip of him bombing protestors with shit and literally knocked down part of the White House.

This should be clarifying.

One of the more incredible stories out of LA this year has been how a taco review blog became the best on-the-ground coverage of ICE raids in the city.

They do a dispatch every day, follow-up on the kidnapped people (which almost no media outlet has done), and fact-check government claims.
@lataco.bsky.social first began as a blog documenting local Mexican cuisine. Now, it’s an essential reporting powerhouse to the city as Trump’s mass deportation plot unfolds.

As noam chomsky said to andrew marr (one of the most high profile british journalists)
Marr: are you suggesting my boss tells me what to think
Chomsky: no I'm saying if you believe anything different you wouldn't be where you are
Like…revealed day by day??! I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. This has been clear for AT LEAST 20 years. Where in the actual fuck have yall been. How is this a conversation people are are still having.
And yes, some of the media conglomerations are capitulating, but what is being revealed, day by day, is that the wealth class isn't just afraid of Trump, they're on board with the ongoing fascist escalation that we've been watching for decades. It helps to see this clearly and not living in denial.
I once again feel like people are fighting a battle that was lost DECADES ago and really need to catch the fuck up.
Yeah so…Absolutely no one outside of bluesky or who work in journalism (and I mean even then) knows who these two people are or anything that is going on with them recently and they do not get info from any other source than corporate media which they accept as verified fact.
Hopefully the whole Bari Weiss thing and Ezra Klein thing starts waking people up to the fact that corporate media is mostly populated with mediocre people who have made millions and gained unbelievable influence because they threaten nothing and tell wealthy people exactly what they want to hear.

ICE abducts people and then immediately moves them around to prevent access to lawyers and habeas corpus petitions. @emmarjanssen.bsky.social has the story on this consistent game being played to frustrate due process.

perhaps the biggest story TFPever ran was a catastrophically shoddy argument that George Floyd ackshully died of an overdose. When confronted with irrefutable evidence that the piece was simply wrong, Weiss didn’t take it down, she asked her critic, @radleybalko.bsky.social, to come on a podcast.

Pretty clear Stephen Miller, Noem, Hegseth and Trump are trying to provoke a Civil War at this point. What's interesting is they want to do it now, because even though they're unpopular, they seem to believe this is the most popular they'll be ever again. We can't let them win.
This is a breathtaking abuse of the law and power by the President of the United States.

America is on the brink of martial law.

Do not be silent.
This evening, President Trump is ordering 400 members of the Texas National Guard for deployments to Illinois, Oregon, and other locations within the United States. No officials from the federal government called me directly to discuss or coordinate.

The ICE agents deploying these are people without necessary training, those who couldn’t cut it in police training or didn’t want to join the military.

They are in this to hurt people and play Call of Duty on our streets, deploying chemical weapons on our neighbors as if they’re pressing L1.
Remaining feds left the scene in a large caravan, deploying more tear gas straight into the crowd - and right at my feet - as they left.

I think what’s most frustrating right now for Black and Indigneous people is waiting for the bulk of white folks to catch up.

At some point the “this isn’t who we are” and “I didn’t have this on my bingo card” has to end and y’all will catch up, right? RIGHT?

WE NEED YOU TO CATCH UP.

We need a bigger national spotlight on this building raid, fam. Agents dropped from helicopters onto the roof. Citizens and non-citizens alike were dragged from their homes in the night. People who weren't kidnapped during the raid had their belongings seized after the fact. This is madness.

People need to grapple with the fact that “mainstream media” has been “failing to meet the moment” for decades. That’s how we got here. The romantic notion of journalism some of yall have has never existed in the history of anything. please move past the constant reactionary surprise I’m tired.
