And the recent data has confirmed my calculations were correct for Ecodesign.

I made an 8 min video about it.

(I didn't get the total Fireplaces and stoves activity data correct because Advanced is missing, as I used Ecodesign EFs for it.)

Yes I have and yes it is.

Before the data selector was updated recently, I used the pivot table xls file that is available on the NAEI website for data up to 2023. I used the EFs from WP3 to calculate the Activity Data for Ecodesign and others. Tho it doesn't have Advanced stove.

I'm mostly interested in wood burning, especially the modern Ecodesign stoves.
Dioxins on stoves are particular bad.

I've put the most recent emission data into the database, to create group emission data.

Then, with the help of ChatGPT, I've made a Multi-group Pollutant Viewer, which produces a line chart of up to 10 selected groups.

Haven't done a lot of data checking, but it's been accurate so far.

Hi James.

I've been looking at the NAEI data for a while now. It was easy enough to make pivot tables to see different sources and fuel types, but it was hard to compare sources with each other.
So I built a database that combines the elements into groups, and combines the emission data.

One of our volunteers turned her #WoodBurningStove into Lego storage, and this is why:

“I grew up on canal boats, so didn’t feel at home without a stove. When I bought my house, I got one. After this, every winter I had chest infections. When I stopped burning, I stopped getting chest infections."

Typical of the stove industry's selfish attitude. Power outages are the worst time to burn wood as neighbours are unable to use their air purifiers. It costs us £££ to buy & run all the air purifiers, dehumidifiers, tumble dryers, etc we need when neighbours burn wood. Clean air poverty exists too!

How much influence did Robert Jenrick have on the aggressive stove industry lobbying that has devastated the health & lives of many people in SCAs after many decades of smoke free living? His father’s company has made huge profits from assaulting neighbours with toxic fumes from “Ecodesign” stoves.
