Among unelected Republican operatives, it’s probably a close race between Mike Davis and Leonard Leo over who has most shaped the federal judiciary from top to bottom

talking about the US only. Europe is similar. Don't know about Australia.

yes, architects & engineers swear an oath to uphold a code of ethics. If they break that code, they can be desciplined by suspension of their license, removal of their license, and criminal proceedings. Again, I'm not defending Nuzzi.

get back to me when you find the oath to which journalists swear.

No. Journalism is not a profession because
recognized professions are occupations that have specific qualifications, regulations, or official recognition, often requiring a license, certificate, or degree to practice.

so you're saying that Maine voters would support her for Govenor but not for Senator because of the difference in job description? That doesn't make sense because Governors have much more power than Senators.
michelecollins5411.bsky.social
I'm not defending Nuzzi, but there is no valid comparison between what she did as a journalist & an attorney.
michelecollins5411.bsky.social
obvious difference is that journalists are not legally bound by a code of ethics.

it was never about free speech. It's always been about people wanting to say the most reprehensible things online & not suffer any consequences from their audience.

This has been discussed for 10 years & gave us turnip twice so I'm not going to do this again. Figure it out for yourself. Have a good one.

in 30 yrs, bernie introduced only 8 bills which became laws.

In 5 yrs, aoc has introduced 0 bills which became law.

In 12 yrs, warren has introduced 11 bills which became law.

In other words, bernie & aoc have done nothing for ordinary Americans.
michelecollins5411.bsky.social
then they should present that argument. But they aren't.

she won statewide w/ that platform 5 years ago. Has Maine changed that much in just 5 years?

There are lots of people concerned about Ed Markey's age who wanted him to get primaried. Yet the universal reaction this morning to Seth Moulton running seems to be, "Yeah, I'll stick with Markey."

That's how much Moulton sucks.
