Truth is, Democrats are the ones that are conservative. Republicans are regressive, constantly trying to turn back the clock to pre-Civil-Rights, pre-LGBTQ*-Rights, pre-democracy times.

So whenever the Republicans are in power, they dismantle everything people fought for.

The biggest lie in US politics is that Democrats are progressive and Republicans are conservative. That's just not true. Democrats are as disinterested in moving forward as Republicans are in maintaining the status quo.

Of the last 45 yrs:

6 yrs w trifectas, 0.5 yrs w filibuster-proof trifectas.

39 yrs w at least one part GOP; 44.5 yrs w/o filibuster-proof Dem trifectas.

Ppl can't keep voting for GOP Presidents & majorities & then complain Dems aren't doing enough to stop the GOP's wrecking they keep voting for.

Another one who was tricked by liars who call large language models "Artificial Intelligence", when there's nothing intelligent about it and there will never be. That's not how any of it works. It's like nailing a dead pigeon to a broken car and calling it "plane". I wouldn't fly with it.

It's willful blindness/ hypocricy by journalists who have amplified the transphobic narratives that opened the door to these groups!

On the Avengers, Beast and Wonder Man were like Marvel's Blue Beetle and Booster Gold, always silly, cracking jokes. On Defenders and X-Factor, there was less of that.
The cartoon then played up the polysyllabic scientist angle, ignored the goofball part entirely and comics followed suit.

I loved his own series by Joe Harris. Thrust into a post-apocalyptic fantasy timeline, he had to fight Trevor Fitzroy, who had become the ruler over that world. I think the series got cut short when Bishop was written into the The Twelve crossover. Shame.
