you can always tell when an artist sees trans women as a kind of man instead of a kind of woman

Have been working on plenty of commission work I can't quite show yet, but here's one I can show :)

::EVELYN:: [[LANCER TTRPG Pilot]]::

Extremely proud of this piece and even more proud to be able to share it with you all.

i do kind of think that the awareness and commonality of hrt is sort of like a turning point people havent fully grappled with. a technological shift on par with the advent of people getting personal computers & hooking up to the internet in the 90s. theyre trying to suppress it hard bc of that

four and rosamia go to different high schools but became best friends after fighting over the last slap bracelet in hot topic. they are emo and come up with elaborate fake edgy backstories and experiment girl names to complain about everyone they hate at school. they get into constant mall hijinks
Periodically i think about my idea for a CDL-style modern-day parody manga but it’s about all of the cyber newtypes as extremely chuuni emo kid high schoolers who hang out at the mall and talk shit about normies and preps and such

Enby transfem dyke is a fun identity because you'll have a militant commitment to the idea that gendered expectations are a stultifying shackle even in queer contexts and Womanhood is a cage we need to abolish, and this desire for gender-freedom instantly makes people see you as more of a Man.

my handler (academic supervisor) rewarding me with treats (a red ink "good job!" in the margins) for being a good pilot (grad student) and completing the mission (half a weeks worth of investigative googling that finally gives me the crucial piece i need to write my research proposal)
Lie that it's Ideon, then backtrack into sincerity that it's Zeta. The initial lie stays in mind, remains baffling-intriguing, which gets Ideon put on a "watch later" list.

Will you fight knowing that you may lose?
Will you love knowing that it may not last?
Will you create knowing that it may never be seen?

even so, even so, even so, ... !
con cafe axed ... black knight axed ... devilishly sweet girlfriend ending early ... yuri does not exist but in the fleeting moments it does one must cherish it

How many times have we heard "actually it's way more radical to be an effeminate man, wouldn't you be breaking more boundaries by being a clean cut crossie?"

And then once they get you to chip away what you actually are for their weird compromises, they'll needle you down into right wing cishetness
I know folks who've experienced conversion therapy outside the West and even they get a lot with sexuality being "fluid", attraction "fluctuating and changing over time", "don't be so rigid in your definitions" ... "because you'll grow out of it and find a man to settle down with and have kids--"
the need to have a sanitized queerness that exists only in an identity label, that can look and act indistinguishably from heterosexuality has been a goal for a lot of people for ages

it’s assimilation by another name. it’s conversion therapy that tells queers “you can still be gay, don’t worry.”
