Viewership expansion substantial, but what matters is if that translated to profit.

My extremely unofficial, 3rd-hand understanding is Hallmark and Peacock both in theory willing to continue deal, but Peacock wanted to pay less now that Hallmark+ had next day and two sides couldn't reach agreement.

Don't disagree about people enjoying cozy mysteries, but Hallmark hasn't found a way to reach folks who have cut the cord with any sort of profitability. People watch Hallmark movies if they have access, but they're not willing to pay enough for that access. Crux of problem

With only 24 movies on the slate, all with prime Saturday-Sunday slots, guessing need to see ratings out of the gate at or close to 1.5M because, if not…Don't know where Hallmark goes from here. And not because people don't like Christmas movies, or Hallmark "went woke," or whatever nonsense…

Bad news for a network that just announced a raft of holiday reality programming, but the season two premiere of CELEBRATIONS WITH LACEY CHABERT didn't factor into the ratings reports at all, meaning it likely had low six-figure viewership, at best. That's definitely not what Hallmark was hoping for

The way ratings are going, think we're going to see more changes after this holiday season from Hallmark. Expect fewer movies, fewer series renewals, and fewer new series going forward.

In 2024, Hallmark debuted 107 movies. 2025 will have just 60 new movies, and expect number to continue to decline

Not sure it's mysteries or stars, because Hallmark struggling to launch anything outside of Saturday night rom-coms, and even there numbers down significantly.

Need to either designate one Saturday/month for a mystery, or establish set Sunday sched in between scripted series runs and promote that.

More bad news for Hallmark's mysteries. Even at 8 PM on main channel, ratings are…not good. Tamera Mowry-Housley's HAUNTED HARMONIES: BURIED AT C nabbed only 483k live viewers. That's better than the MYSTERY ISLAND movies, but still similar to numbers that got premieres pulled from Hallmark Mystery.

Much more accurate for most and our first house. However, I grew up with a dance floor, mirrors, lights, a bar and disco ball in the middle of the den! 🤦🏽‍♀️🪩🕺🏽my parents were disco dancers who became instructors so they converted it into the most awkward open floorplan room! It was a little mortifying.
