lrp maybe it's that I've been a horror fan since preschool but I just feel like it's not a hard concept to understand that media that you like might upset someone else and vice versa. if someone's writing it they/their audience probably don't hate it and it's not your job to cleanse the world of it

But that doesn't mean you should go after creators whose works/trans rep make you uncomfortable: you work on those feelings by going to therapy, NOT by harassing trans creators. 🙏🙏🙏

sometimes I forget that I'm pretty fortunate in that even the least progressive/most old-fashioned people I regularly interact with are still like. capable of having a conversation with a woman as if she is a fellow human being with a mind. encountering outspoken misogyny is always a rude reminder
