Just watched Civil War (2024)

Like other Garland films, it's well directed, beautifully shot, expertly edited, gripping, yet strangely not really about much.

Not a criticism, per se. I really enjoy his stuff, but I think some of this films critics were expecting something else.

We finished S2 of Interview with the Vampire last night and OH MY GODS that ending.

Yeah, they certainly changed a few things from the book.

What a wonderfully OTT love story, and dropping Akasha's name at the end nearly had me out of my seat screaming in Old Nerd.

It really is. Good god, what absolute tosh.

I've read a lot of conspiracy theories over the years & this has the same delusional vibe.

I can only assume he's misread the other books as badly as he has Gulliver & Watchmen.

This would get an F in any English Lit class. Hot garbage.
