It’s fascinating comparing the front page coverage of the Huntingdon train attack (below) with how the British press treated another case 30 years ago.

I’m referring to the 1995 Netto supermarket attack in Birmingham in which a man stabbed 10 people, killing one of them.

so the couple who are basically my Husband's parents have a story where they went to marriage therapy in the 60s in NYC and the big take away was "Do you drink Gin?" they said yes and the therapist said Switch to vodka Gin makes people aggressive and they stand by it to this day

A GENUINELY CONCERNED PERSON

It took awhile but I soon found the perfect spot.
I started with the tinder - dry leaves, pine needles, birch bark.
I gathered up some twigs and criss-crossed them on top.
Then came the logs, a nice dry mix of beech, ash and oak.
Just for fun, I added some paraffin, to guarantee ignition.
Finally I left matches, a lighter and a blow torch.
Then I walked away.

Imagine my surprise when the forest burnt down.
I did try to warn people.
I said all it needed was a spark.

Dan Hannan + Douglas Carswell put a lot of emphasis on the equal citizenship of black, Asian and mixed race Britons (especially in 2013-2016, concerned that Farage's nativism + the legacy of Enoch Powell would make it impossible for Reform to reach 50%. Carswell has flipped entirely. Has Hannan?
