The govt keeps blaming workers for Canada Post’s crisis instead of holding management to account. Mismanagement, failed projects & bloated executive bonuses are the problem, not postal workers who keep the mail moving. #cdnpoli #CUPW #canlab #novascotia #strike #workers

BRB writing free angry letters
Seems like a good time to remind people that Canada Post will deliver any piece of mail to federal elected officials for FREE.

No stamp necessary!

Just a reminder in case you, oh I dunno, wanna send your elected officials a sternly worded letter a day for a year or something.

Tomorrow, the DFA returns to the table with Dalhousie Admin. Let’s make it clear: we stand with faculty. An investment in teachers is an investment in students. There is no Dalhousie without faculty.

✊🏽 Solidarity with the DFA.
Dalhousie faculty are the first ever faculty at a U15 university to be locked out. Instead of investing in the people who teach, research, and support students, Dalhousie has chosen union-busting tactics.

On this Labour Day, let’s honour their sacrifices by standing in solidarity and resisting all forms of exploitation, colonialism, and union-busting.

Happy Labour Day! #labourday
In so-called Canada, these struggles are inseparable from the colonial foundations of this country—built on stolen land and stolen labour. Capitalism thrives on devaluing both people and the earth, but workers have always fought back.
Yet those gains are under constant attack. Today we encourage you to show solidarity with workers at OTC wholost their jobs and were replaced by non-unionized labour. We also encourage you to show solidarity with Dalhousie Faculty Association who are facing a lockout from Dalhousie University
Labour Day is not just a holiday…

it’s a day to remember the struggles of workers past, present and future. The rights many of us hold were won through generations of organizing, striking, and refusing to accept exploitation.
