What are the implications of this? Are they replacing an existing fence with something stronger/more impenetrable?

Had a day where I almost got hit at 2 different points by people changing lanes without signaling. First was a Dallas Parking Enforcement SUV. The second was hours later: a sedan with Progressive Insurance logos. I bet if I had been out another few hours, I would've been killed by an ambulance.

One of the cool byproducts is, if it takes you a very long time to save the money for a thing, you could realize that you don't want it as badly as you thought, and then you can spend it on something else, or just put it in savings.

I made a point about 10 years ago of trying to save money for things I wanted instead of just putting it on a credit card and thinking "I'll worry about it later." It's improved my life a great deal.

I had several teachers who were truly experts in their fields, and I barely went to half the classes for reasons that are mostly embarrassing now

Under no circumstances should you have more than one credit card, and the limit should remain low. Practice saving money for expensive things you want. It's good training for life and you'll never be tempted to live beyond your means.

11. What is something that you wish someone told you before you went to college?

I saw this movie several months ago in advance of a piece I was working on that never materialized. I thought about it ever since. Definitely one of the best films of 2025. Absolutely the best leading-man performances.

The Secret Agent (Kleber Mendonça Filho): Less an ode to movie palaces than it is to the people who used to occupy them. Even then, who owns that memory? Those of us who view it through treacly sentimentality, or those who were there but can barely remember at all? It's great.

College-age me didn't appreciate the opportunity I had. I mean in terms of education. I should've tried to get an A in every class and learn as much as I could from all those incredible teachers. A lot of the extracurricular stuff I did I can't even remember in detail now.

The @chicago.suntimes.com photographer who risked their personal health and safety to take this photograph is Anthony Vazquez. Please credit photographers and media outlets. In this age of misinformation, a photo with no context could be anything at all.

Please remind us who the domestic terrorists are again.
Photo from Chicago: DHS militarized agent holding a gun up directly in someone’s face as the victim has their hands up, pleading for them not to shoot.

California, this November 4th, the whole country is counting on you.

Prop 50 puts our elections back on a level playing field, preserves independent redistricting over the long term, and lets the people decide.

So return your ballot today. Vote yes on 50.

I think everybody knows why a tech bro would want to put a facsimile of Marilyn Monroe into Game of Thrones, specifically. Notice how they didn't choose Frasier, Bluey, or Little House on the Prairie. Creepy as hell.

So do White people in the west just believe it’s okay to resurrect the dead to make them dance and perform for your pleasure?
Is this a cultural difference?
Because where I come from, disturbing the dead usually comes with consequences.
Bad ones.

Yes!!! As if TFG were somehow doing a copy edit for maximum stupidity
mattzollerseitz.bsky.social
Yes! I've said many times on various platforms that I think that's one of the greatest performances in the history of movies
