This is, without any exaggeration, exactly how Putin and Orbán proceeded — using antisemitism to discredit the idea of civil society and political opposition, and as an excuse to undo the rule of law.

The White House "alternate reality" messaging, amplified by right-wing media, is a perfect propaganda machine, and especially if you're living in an information silo, as most of MAGA is.
Seems prophetic, and for good reason.
Steve Bannon: If we lose the midterms and we lose 2028, some in this room are going to prison, myself included.
Appears that #SpeakerJohnson, as many are saying, is running a #PedophileProtectionRacket.
👀 WOW — “Speaker Johnson is stalling Grijalva until Van Epps gets there to cancel out her vote?”

TN-7 nominee @aftynbehn.bsky.social tells us Johnson plans for Van Epps to help him cover up the Epstein files. (His weak answer to NC5 is another clue🕵️ )

MAGA – Trump, contemplating his own mortality, is shaken by this medical situation.

Reality – Trump: "FFS, how long is this going to take b/c it's a very bad look for me?!".

This is officially one of the strangest pictures in American history, and I do not doubt that it will be considered iconic a hundred years from now.

100% serious here.
Yes, this is the blank look of a soul-less man who just had the focus on him pulled out from underneath him by someone with a medical emergency.

A federal court temporarily blocked the Trump administration’s deployment of National Guard troops in Oregon, with plans to issue a permanent block by Friday. While the current order bars deployment, the final order will presumably also bar troop federalization.

Massive health care cuts. Catastrophic tariffs raising the prices of everything.

A weaker economy and tougher job market for American workers.

This is unleashing the Golden Age?
🚨 CNBC: "Announced corporate job cuts surging past 1 million so far this year, with 153,000 new layoffs just in October according to Challenger. That is the worst October since 2003."

You know who else incentivized its citizens to have more [white] babies? The Nazis. They offered interest-free loans, awards, subsidized, and lower tax rates.

So the fascist Heritage Foundation taking the same approach tracks.
The emphasis on family policy is very evident in Heritage’s policy work.

One draft paper we obtained proposed a “Manhattan Project” for more babies.

A subsequent draft floats giving straight married couples an extra “half vote” in federal elections for each of their children.
Might MTG be weighing her options to join the dark side?

Congratulations to all the Democratic candidates who won tonight. It’s a reminder that when we come together around strong, forward-looking leaders who care about the issues that matter, we can win. We’ve still got plenty of work to do, but the future looks a little bit brighter.

The factional grifters will hate this, but the Mamdani-Spanberger-Sherrill axis actually suggests the outlines of a broad, emerging Dem coalition organized around both anti-Trump *and* affordability politics, not a party bitterly divided against itself.
These big wins will embolden Dems to take on Trump's lawbreaking and show there's a price for GOP enabling of him. Folks hate to hear this, but normal patterns are asserting themselves: Liberalism isn't dead, Rs are likely to lose in 2026, and Trump is really unpopular, not a magical exception.

AOC: We know that Donald Trump has not only been convicted of committing crimes, but that the supreme court has given him a blank check to continue to commit crimes while in office. So we cannot underestimate the threat and the danger of this moment. But we cannot respond to that with cowardice.
