It’s cold out. Frosty. Brisk, is the word most would use to describe it. Either way, it’s nothing close to what we’re about to experience in the next eight weeks. Taking my oldest to their 1st comic con tomorrow afternoon, and then dropping them off at their first dance in the evening. Wish me luck!

Finally upgraded my phone to the iPhone 17. Huge upgrade from the 12 mini. I can actually type on this screen! This time, I hope I can go without an upgrading again until the iPhone 27.🤞🤞

There are two kinds of people today. Those who understand their IT person can't magically fix a massive AWS outage that is impacting stuff you wouldn't expect like Adobe Acrobat, and those who don't understand and choose to yell like an asshole and demand you fix it anyway.

Another one of my former coworkers passed away yesterday. It’s been five years since I last saw him, but we’d still talk in the group chat. My wife still worked with him, and today he was going to start at her new company. She spoke to him on Friday and everything was fine.

I’m taking my oldest to Winnipeg Comiccon 2025. Got the tickets this morning. This will be my first time at a comic convention in something like 15 years. That’s how bad it was the last time I went. Hopefully things have improved.

Toddler refuses to nap and won’t stop climbing things.
My wife and daughter are at a baby shower.
I am on my fifth cup of coffee, irritable and in need of a nap myself.
Spent the afternoon cleaning the house and garage. Still need to hang curtains & take down the trampoline.
Still, more to do!
