I just wrote a report on the cancellation of USAID for HIV treatment in Southern Africa. It means that only EU reduced aid will be available. Thus, a lottery for ART treatment. Some people will die.

I just completed a report on Botswana. It is clear from UNAIDS that no aid from the US under the current administration and a smaller budget from the EU will mean no HIV treatment for most of those needing it in Botswana. Cut in aid means lives at risk.
