小学生20名と教師6名が惨殺されたサンディフック銃乱射事件で、事件直後から「銃規制を進めたいリベラルのやらせ」「小学生は生きている」などのデマと陰謀論を何年も拡散し、これを信じたバカどもが遺族に嫌がらせを繰り返すなどして、遺族に多大なダメージを負わせたとして訴訟され、14億ドル(2200億円)の損害賠償支払いを命じられたアレックス・ジョーンズ。支払いを逃れようと「表現の自由」を傘に、最高裁まで控訴したが、最高裁はこれを退けた。

事件後13年が経つ。長い戦いだった。

とはいえ、エルドアンが花を持たせバイデンが見殺しにしてできなかった和平をトランプが強引にテーブルを用意してでも成し遂げてしまった成果自体は認めざるを得ず、ただ第1段階の停戦ラインが引かれただけで、崩壊する火種は山ほどあるし、停戦が崩壊しかけたとき諸外国がいち早く介入できるのがよいがどうだか…（それにしてもヨーロッパ首脳陣のロジのスムーズさとフットワークには驚かされる）
