I can’t help but think today about how many young people were savaged on social media, branded as anti-semites and abandoned by their schools for daring to call for a ceasefire. I remember saying that it was the first time I can remember that calling for ceasefire was regarded as a hostile demand.

Can we stop calling Palestinians “prisoners” if Israelis are “hostages?” Most of the “prisoners” were held without charges and HUNDREDS of them were literal children.

Calling one group hostages and another group prisoners implies a moral imbalance between the two.

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.
