That Andrew, son of Queen Elizabeth II, says he cannot remember having sex with Virginia Giuffre whilst, she claimed it happened 3 times; suggests he was doing it a lot with lots of different young females, just like Virginia Giuffre? Have to say, it’s no comfort AT ALL surveying the Brexit wreckage knowing there are other (lesser) reasons for the damage.
Just makes Brexit all the more irresponsible and idiotic. Along with the stubborn refusal to properly fix it.

Chancellor Rachel Reeves has linked the UK's slow growth and rising taxes to the long-term effects of Brexit, arguing that the way Britain left the European Union has made the economy smaller and productivity weaker.

So, is Brexit to blame?
Most major studies - including those by the
OBR, the Constitution Society and Cambridge Econometrics - agree that Brexit has made the
UK economy smaller and weaker than it would otherwise have been, mainly because of lower trade and investment.
The estimated loss, between 4 and 5 per cent of GDP, is widely accepted by official and independent forecasts. But these studies also show that Brexit is not the only cause of Britain's economic problems. Weak productivity, years of underinvestment, global shocks and an ageing population have all added to the slowdown.
Verdict: Evidence from official and independent sources supports the claim that Brexit has weakened the UK economy.
But it is one of several factors holding back growth - not the only one.

3 October: The Observer contacts Reform UK leader Nigel Farage for comment over why he has not updated his register of interests since May, despite continuing to work second jobs and parliamentary rules requiring interests be declared within 28 days. A spokesperson for Farage responds: “All declarations have been made for any earnings outside of Parliament.”

3 October: Farage registers more than £120,000 of earnings, from making speeches in May and June and presenting shows on GB News in July and August, which he received more than 28 days earlier (ie before 5 September) – meaning he is in breach of parliamentary rules.

They'll likely have to pay penalties. We can ballpark it: given plausible VAT recovery, and assuming Reform UK cooperate fully with HMRC, expect a VAT bill in the region of £40k, plus £3k penalties, plus £3.5k interest.
