The last two days I've been working on small terrain pieces for Marvel Crisis Protocol. The coffee shop and newsstand official kits and revising a 3d printed pizza shop. Also did a couple of cars. Simple techniques, but trying more freehand and having a lot of fun with waterslides.

Two MCP Taxis. One painted in Ultramarines color with 40K decals and a Punisher inspired taxi.

I'm still happy with the front facade of the coffee shop. It's an unconventional technique but it looks really nice. The blue makes a great contrast against the warm colors.

I also added more than a dozen decals to the graffiti war going on out back. Lots of new details!

MCP coffee shop terrain kit. It's painted in an abstract way with a lot of brown gold and white color stippled on. Blue reflections in the windows provide intense contrast.

The rear is inspired by a real world graffiti mural. Sonic the Hedgehog reclining with the word SLUTS in blue Sega font. I wasn't happy how it came out so I added dozens of Warhammer 40K transfers as various graffiti tags.

The big project today was revising this 3d print pizza shop. I cleaned up the colors and made it look a little newer and less run down. Increased contrast and intensity, completely redid the windows. Some crude free hand and a lot of repurposed 40K decals as detail.

Freehanded neon PIZZA, DEALS and OPEN as well as ATM signs. Stickers for additional detail.

Rear angle of the pizza shop. Some additional Ork and Chaos Space Marine stickers added as graffiti.

What looks like a menu sign at the drive-thru window came from a 40-year-old Robotech kit! I put one on each side. PARIS BLOODS is a reference to the Blood Syndicate comic.

The size one terrain pieces from the MCP starter box and Sanctum Sanctorum l. That piece of hard plastic hanging from the street sign will be painted up as a pride flag.

A fun little guy who likes to jump rope. A nurgle Plague Demon jump roping with his own innards in a pile of goo and tattered posters. I hope people like this, this model was a lot of work, and in addition to that I designed my own posters to use with this mordheim warband. Up next is something a little more explosive.

A second terrain piece inspired by Dark Souls.
The statue and the basket are from Tiny Furniture, the rest is scratchbuilt.

There is a stone statue of a European king next to it, and a wooden platform near the top. Everything is slightly mossy.
There's a figure of a half-naked person walking under it. The arch is twice the height, and there's about as much wall above it.

View from the other side.
The figure now stands on the wooden platform.
This side is dominated by a wooden ladder, leading to the very top of the structure. There's a woven basket with some vegetables next to it.

The same archway, its flat vertical edge put next to the wall we've seen before.
The person is now standing on top of the arch, slightly above the wall.

I had an absolute blast at today's Mordheim event down at the Clubhouse in Newcastle. Was great to meet new people and play some fun, narrative games. Funniest moment for me had to be my opponent's Skaven leader blowing himself up with his pistol, for the second game running. Absolutely hilarious.

A great day's #bloodbowl at Scotland's first Gutter Bowl championship.

While Douglas's Lizards led the way, they were finally defeated at the death which meant the title of Scottish Gutter Bowl Champion went to Filip.

A day of crazy, random, wacky fun and a venue we'll certainly return to.
