Situated on what was the turnpike route from Sheffield to Chapel-en-le-Frith and Buxton in the Sheffield village of Ringinglow. This somewhat extravagant tollhouse was erected in 1778. An octagonal turret, of three stories and in the Gothic style of the period.

St Albans Clock tower, built by 1405 so the town could sound its own hours rather than be controlled by the abbot of the nearby abbey

The bell that sounded at the 1st Battle of St Albans in 1455 is still there
