The Slow Blade
When you attack a mech with a melee weapon and move with patience, precision, and intent, you may channel your focus to ignore the target’s Barriers. Your strike cuts directly into their Armor (or Core, if Armor is depleted) with Kinetic or Shred damage.
Effect:
Your melee attack bypasses Barriers completely. When you do, choose 1:
Gain 1 Drive (if not in Overdrive) — The stillness before the strike strengthens your bond.
Spend 1 Drive (if in Overdrive) — The Demon’s hunger for precision demands your power.
Take 1 Condition — The effort tears at your body or machine; describe the strain.
Spend 1 Hit — Sacrifice an advantage to ensure the blade lands true.
