I had a podcast in Louisiana based on my 18 years as a successful political organizer & winning Democratic strategist. I’ve stopped recording but the content is evergreen! I moved to Delaware to care for family. Dog & cat mom…kinda obsessed w/tech & media.

[looks around for jake tapper] hey man, do you, uh, want to write about this?
Trump: AOC is low IQ. If you give her an IQ test, have her pass like the exams that I decided to take when I was at Walter Reed. Those are very hard…

The first couple of questions are easy. A tiger, an elephant, a giraffe..

The focus on "the deplorables" without any deeper analysis is an object lesson in why the right-wing media prevails: REPETITION.

People didn't give a shit about that comment. The MAGA media MADE people care about it. It constructed a "deep story" of grievance for the movement to own.
Also, it may seem like a small thing, but by my count this is the third Ezra Klein show that highlights Hillary Clinton’s “deplorables” comment. To be fair, it is the guest who brings it up. But it is important in highlighting what I see as the double standard by which the parties are assessed.

Just for the record, in 2020:
- Wray was the FBI director Trump handpicked to replace Comey
- Jack Smith was in the Hague prosecuting Kosovo war crimes
- Garland was an appeals court judge
- Monaco was in private practice in LA

There was no Biden administration yet, crooked or otherwise.

He crazy.

The Affordable Care Act became law in 2010

Since then, Republicans tried to repeal, replace, defund and overturn it

NEVER did they offer a viable alternative to it

Now-as health insurance costs are exploding-they’re terrified

Because it threatens their hegemony over the American body politic
COLLINS: If you have a healthcare plan, why not have that out there to talk about in the public so people can hear it?

MIKE JOHNSON: We need to get back to regular session so we can. We will not negotiate with legislative terrorists

There’s just not enough attention being paid to how unqualified, psychologically unfit, and dangerous so many of these new ICE hires potentially are.

If we had a Congress, there’d be investigations & oversight into this.
Just finished recording with @therhancock19.bsky.social — can’t wait to hear the episode on @helenamorenola.com’s win this Friday!

It's the first major structural change to the mansion since extensive renovations under President Truman in 1948.

I’m already noticing huge differences in healthcare now. The cuts are already impacting every level of the system.

They’re forcing you to ask the wrong damn question. It’s not “why are these singled out groups allegedly getting government sponsored health care?”

You should be asking “why aren’t ALL of us getting government sponsored health care?”

Amazing that “No kings and no Nazis” is suddenly a controversial slogan and up for debate in 2025. These are the two most basic creeds of American history.

Thank you, Mike Johnson! No Kings Day signups have doubled since Republicans started lying about our peaceful protests.

They’re leveraging her celebrity for engagement & it’s meant to create more chaos, disruption, & division. There doesn’t even have to be rhyme or reason to it. These are all Russian developed disinfo tactics that have been mainstreamed. It’s disheartening that we’re so (social) media illiterate.
But Fox News has a repeat track of “Stop calling us Nazis!”

Wonder why people are calling them Nazis. 🤔
