It's now hit me how much Magma is an afterthought in the games outside Ruby because Aqua is usually portrayed as both the first team you'll see and the one that eventually causes the endgame, and to that point their actual endgame is more threatening

We as a society need to stop trying to make Gastrodon on Cynthia's team a thing. There are more games without her on the party than there are with her on the team and even then one of them swaps her out for Porygon Z.

This is a preliminary draft, but what I want to emphasize above all else is the fairy tale aspect of her career. Akin to like how there's a tradition in theater in how Peter Pan has been played by actresses for over a century now.
