Anyone know about radio controlling live steam locos? This newbie has some queries; can I pair a new transmitter with an existing receiver etc? Will one transmitter do for multiple locos or do I need one for each? What brand or model would you recommend? Thanks

Any idea when exactly this one would have been made? its older than I first thought because in Mark Founds The Garden Railway (made in what? 2001?) they show one thats clearly newer generation than this one!

Och aye, it's the Loch!
Following up on our Highland Railway 'Big Goods' 4-6-0 is the last of David Jones' designs, the Loch Class 4-4-0.
15 of these handsome locos were built in 1896, with a further 3 in 1917. The last was withdrawn in 1950.
