lastly, a common rebuttal to contaminant reporting is that there are unavoidable levels of lead in lots of foods. some context:

taking just one serving of one of the powders we tested would expose you to 45% more lead than the average american gets from everything they eat/drink in a day combined

my latest investigation for @consumerreports.org is based on months of reporting and 60+ lab tests of leading protein supplements

The only XG related things I havent opened are the pins, but it's in little individual clear plastic envelopes, I can fully look at/display it in an ita bag or w/e and still leave it sealed. Esp if a set of those pins sealed IS hard to come by (the keychains are harder in general imo, but I digress)

Sorry, a bit of a rant, I just feel very strongly about allowing yourself LIVE AND ENJOY THINGS IN YOUR LIFETIME. Like, if the merch isn't made for us, then who???

I would never be able to be the kind of collector who has things still in cardboard boxes like that one XG/XS collector. Like if sealed things makes you happy, more power to you, I'd never be able to though, hence why most stuff I get is pre-owned and I'm happy with that.

I just realized Xenogears' 27th NA anniversary is 6 days from now and I didn't specifically set a Xenotober prompt for that day.
Day 20's prompt is Death Knell, which I had a very specific piece planned for that just happened to be for XG rather than XS or XB, so I guess it works out in a way for me

they've made bank on someone else's translation/image editing work likely w/o permission, upcharged you like crazy, & the translation has a lot of mistakes & iirc the final pgs arent even complete, you shouldve just gotten a cheaper official JP copy & read the translation pdf while you flip thru it

I've seen at least a few fans going "I finally got a copy of PW like I've always wanted!!" with a pic of a bootleg hardcover with it's cropped front cover such as it is and it's color correction either all off or non-existent and I'm always like, Im so sorry to have to tell you you've been swindled,
