this went on for far too long

1: Zasha, currently playing the role as the shadow, casts Dark Slash on the space Bartolomeus (who is directly in front of him) is currently occupying.
2: Zasha muses that his plan is perfect, getting Bartolomeus out of his hair.
3: Bartolomeus casts Heal Pull, switching his and Zasha's locations and giving Zasha a minor heal.
4: This does not help Zasha, as Dark Slash actually goes off, dealing 97 points of damage.

The same four panels as the last page (this is called repetition and the fact that there's a fancy literature term for it means I'm justified in doing so). The only difference is that Zasha is, instead, in front of Bartolomeus, which means that Bartolomeus is the one healed by Heal Pull and thus making it an even worse proposition for Zasha.

did a 500 IQ play in Shadows that wound up accidentally killing my light side teammate. whoopsies

1: the axe-wielding enemy will attack me (Kurt).
2: in order to avoid this, I use Minor Pull, a skill which swaps the contents of two spaces (despite the name). this moves me forward one spot and moves the axe enemy to where I was.
3: the enemy is still attacking the space in front of him, which is now my teammate, bart(olomeus)
4: panic sets in as bartolomeus is targeted by shadow magic, which turns out to be fatal in combination with the enemy's autoattack

Tuff/Bun from Kirby: Right Back At Ya!, rejoicing that Notte has apparently turned into her Fire form (NOTE: said Notte does not actually exist).

Meta Knight corrects him, saying that Notte is in "terrible pain" because the burger was too spicy. (In the actual show, Kirby had just ingested curry that makes him breathe fire, as a reference to the Superspicy Curry item from Kirby's Dream Land, which allowed him to breathe fire before Copy Abilities were formally introduced.)

(the boring not-fun answer is that it's a mix of Volo being chibi when you can't quite do that with Togepi as well as it looking better for the sticker :V)

i like that the mega gauge in Z-A has a dual purpose in letting your Pokémon use Plus Moves as well

it's *better* to use it for Mega Evolutions (because Mega Evolved Pokémon *always* use Plus Moves) but it doesn't screw you over if you don't want to use a Mega Evolution-capable Pokémon as much

feeling godawful at work (I don’t think it’s a virus, I’m just suffering the consequences of my actions) but half-worried that if I ask to go home it’d be parsed as trying to start playing Z-A

the other half is realizing like nobody here knows what Z-A is, let alone that it releases today

...i had assumed they were adults because they were described as "travelers" on reveal. i had not realized how little that meant for this series until you brought it up >_>;

but yeah considering that i'd probably say they're adults? i think they'd be the oldest protags yet, at the very least

Windows 10 goes out of support today. My fave useless fact about w10 is that the iconic blue desktop background is a *photograph* - not CGI.
