On interesting thing to note....Avatar CB boxes went significantly down...don't know when that happen but they were in the 800-1000 a while back...now a majority of them are in the 600's.... I still say wait till there in the 450 to 500's personally but a thing to note.

One I thing I will say though....if you do transform Aang...you can cast another copy of Aang front side for free....and presuming if a majority of cards in you deck can do any of the respective bending mechanics......that has the potential for storm shenanigans.....

On the other hand...it is still a 4 drop that technically doesn't do anything the turn it comes in (presuming no setup of course) and that is going to be tricky to play in a meta where a majority of creatures do a powerful ETB triggers in current standard. Time will tell.

We have to see the full set to tell for sure, but, if there a deck design that can do multiple instances of any of the bending mechanics consistantly...this can draw you multiple cards. Not to mention Aang himself draws a card when he attacks. That pretty sweet honestly.

I was looking back at Avatar cards again to get ready for the debut at the end of the month and I just realized with Aang...while I think many players will try to flip him to the absurd transformed state....I don't think we should sleep on the potentially absurd card draw engine of the front side.

Ok, now that I learn sneak on creature spells work just like ninjitsu and the creature cast this way is tapped and attacking. The card is way better than I give it credit for.

Ok, that's good to know. I was reevaluating the card and realized I didn't figure that out yet. Ok, card is a lot better if it's sneak in a double strike creature.
